Steven made me do it

So it’s obvious that blogging is not something I do regularly.

Steven asked me to write something; apparently it’s been a while since I last posted. Even longer since I was completely sober while posting.

2008 was good. Very good, in fact. Apart from the fact that I ended the year as single as when I started it, I achieved everything I wanted. This did result in a bit of over commitment, which I’ve been paying the price for recently. I was asked to do a background check in preparation for my next industry placement (ING Direct, I can’t believe that news didn’t inspire a blog) and I when confronted with the employment history section I realised that I have four employers at the moment. I’m trying desperately to cut that down by half as soon as possibly. (Realistically, March. Ugh.)

I hate printers. They have never worked on the home network as I would have liked – and this one is a fucking network printer/scanner/brick. It’s plugged directly into the router, but the software remains an issue, and it’s a general pain. How hard could it be?</vent>

I hate having put on weight, and have been trying to drink and eat less. Since the point of reference was the holiday season, this has been a remarkable success. Hopefully avoiding fast food and shit beer is all I need.

I hate that I procrastinate so much. (Yet blog so little… although I’m procrastinating as we speak, and having realised this I must stop and make a token attempt to refocus)

I like lots of other things though.
